Communion: Part 3

There are four major views on Communion: Transubstantiation, Consubstantiation, Reformed, or Symbolic. We observe the symbolic view that the bread and wine/juice is representative of the body and blood of Jesus. It is the broken physical body of Jesus, that creates a unified body of Christ (i.e., the church). It is the spilled blood of Jesus which brought him death, that the brings the church new life.
